Buying a Home in Torredembarra

Torredembarra is a town on the Costa Dorada, in the Tarragonès, around 13 km from Tarragona: long stretches of fine sandy beach, a marina, the Els Muntanyans nature reserve and an old town that stays lively all year round. It has a railway station and direct access to the AP-7.

At 11ars we work in Torredembarra every day: it is one of the towns where we have sold the most homes. Here is what you need to know before buying.

Torredembarra offers the best of both worlds: it is a seaside town, yet it has life all year round, schools, shops and good transport links. That is why it appeals just as much to those looking for a first home by the sea as to those wanting a second home, as well as to buyers from outside Spain.

What we see in our own sales: most of the homes we have sold in Torredembarra were priced under €200,000, mainly 2- and 3-bedroom flats, while a large house with a garden can exceed €600,000. The flats we currently have for sale range from around €200,000 to €400,000, depending on size and proximity to the sea.

The general rule: the closer to the sea, the higher the price. The seafront and the maritime quarter are a world apart from the old town or the more inland areas.
